Just a few from Kori's recent senior shoot in the warehouse district. It's been unusually warm for so late in the month, but hey...I'm not complaining. It was a great shoot - but my ears are still ringing from the semi-truck horn blast we received in one of the parking lots. Enjoy!
There are TONS of images from Jon and Jenny's Dekalb, IL wedding that I wish I could share with all of you, but alas, there simply isn't room. Their wedding was a joy to be a part of - and a great way to end our 2009 wedding season. Not to mention that their reception venue was off the hook. If I ever renew my vows with my wife, we are definitely having a party there afterwards.
Once again I need to stop and thank everyone who has been so supportive of this project. Y'all rock.
Three more sessions. Justin and Claire braved a cold damp evening downtown for some portraits together. Atticus, their new found German Sheppard came along as well. Andrea and Brad traveled out to 4 Mounds with me for some photos celebrating their 7th Anniversary. Lastly, my niece Courtney and nephew Iain also were able to come into the studio for some fun shots. They're getting so big! Enjoy!

Phew. Half way through the month, but not close to half way through these shoots! It's been a blast so far - a huge thank you to everyone who has been involved! If you're wondering what all of blood:water stuff is about, click HERE. Below we have the Cole, who came all the way from Des Moines JUST for his mini-senior session (and perhaps to visit family); the Davis family who came into the studio for their family shots; and Brad and Aimee - good friends who wanted some post-wedding photos.
It's still not too late to get invloved. We have a handful of openings left.

Kassandra and I had met at a wedding I shot way back in the summer of 2007, and a month or so after she asked me to shoot her big day in Janesville, WI. It feels surreal that her wedding day has actually come and gone. Is it seriously almost 2010?!
But far from being in Janesville proper, my gps took us out into the beautiful countryside and an isolated little church. It was a beautiful day - large clouds loomed in the sky all day, threatening rain but delivering beautiful light instead. We headed into Janesville for the reception, and then Nathan and I got a couple Starbucks and Avett Brothers injections for our long drive home that night.
