A Whole Bunch of Babies!

Happy Friday everyone!

Sorry for the lack of posts over the last several weeks - lots of year end catching-up and some big changes going on behind the scenes. Here are a whole bunch of little munchkins to keep you going for a little while. I wish I could give each one of these their own post (they definitely deserve it), but unfortunately time is not a luxury I have at the moment. Enjoy the cuteness overload!

Kyle y Mabel.

Only 2 days into the year and I was back on my feet again for the first shoot of 2010!  Kyle and Mabel sure didn't give me much of a break. =)  It was a beautiful and FREEZING day with a high around 8 and I hope the wedding party someday forgives me for taking them out in such unforgiving weather.  Being my first assistant-less wedding in almost 6 months it proved to be quite a challenging day, but it went off without a hitch and was a blast!

In case anyone is wondering - the image on the left is the decal on the church window.

Let this be a fair warning to all future Father-of-the-grooms.  My trigger finger is second to none.  =)

Help Me Build My Portfolio!

As my official Senior Portrait site is getting ready to launch I thought it would be fun to get all of you faithful blog readers to help me decide which photos to put on it!  I've narrowed it down to 34, and out of those I would love to know which are your 10 favorites. Pretty please? Are there ten below that really stop you in your tracks?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!  Thank you for making 2009 such successful year for my business.  Especially you awesome high school seniors pictured below.  I know you went out on a limb when you hired me, seeing as though I'd never really done senior portraits before.  Thank you.

Sophie & Henry.

Recently I had the opportunity to venture over to the home of Sophie (2 years) and Henry (2 months) for a Candid Kids session.  I love to take pictures of children in their home environment where they are comfortable because it takes very little time for them to open up in front of the camera.  Sophie hammed it up as she took me from room to room, and we even got some smiles out of Henry with the help of Grandma.

Enjoy!

Ana Lucia & Sean // Amanda & Kevin

Here are two sessions from last week.  Ana Lucia and Sean were engaged the day before this shoot - congratulations guys!!  Their shoot was on the coldest day of the year so far, but since it was a 20 minute blood:water shoot we all managed to survive the elements.

Amanda & Kevin's shoot was only a few days prior, but about 30 degrees warmer.  How fast the weather turns in our fair state.  I had a great time with them and I think we came away with some wonderful images!
